What are your plans for July 4th?  As we celebrate our country’s birthday with get-togethers, fireworks, and plenty of food and drinks.  A celebration that we all look forward to it every year.

In the spirit of the holiday, I have rounded up a few of mine and your favorite 4th of July recipes.  So many delicious recipes to choose from. I hope some will grace your table to celebrate this Independence Day or any of your summer gatherings.

Quick, easy, and delicious recipes that will leave a lot of time to relaxing and enjoying your family and friends.

Enjoy!

MY FAVORITE 4TH OF JULY RECIPES

Goat Cheese with Sun-Dried Tomatoes Canapes

You can serve them over cucumbers or endives for a lighter, more vegetarian dish. Or with toasted French bread or crackers. I like the mix of both thus having way more than I should eat.

Albacore Tuna Croquettes

Fry them or oven bakes them, those little golden nuggets are always favorite for children and adults alike. Easy to make and perfect too with a cocktail. Make more as they disappear fast. A perfect kids’ recipe.

Macaroni and Cheese Stove Top

It would not be the 4th of July celebration without a big dish of mac ‘n cheese. Here is my version on the stovetop. Easy to make and packed with lots of cheese. A must-try! Kids favorite.

Rice Salad with Chicken

I love to make this rice salad, and you can omit the chicken if you so choose because it does not contain mayonnaise and can leave it with no worries. Super delicious and easy to enjoy either cold or at room temperature.

Jalapeno Burger

JALAPENO BURGERS

Imagine, a juicy, succulent, and cooked to perfection beef patty with chunks of cheddar cheese weaved inside and out. The perfect amount of heat from the jalapeno. Savory and super delicious.

Tequila Lime Flat Iron Steak

Being that I was playing with new flavors, testing the sauce was fun and challenging at the same time. I had to add more sugar to remove some of the tartness of the lime. Still not satisfied, I decided to add butter, as a good French person would do. And voila… the sauce was perfect. I must give credit to us French, we know how to make sauces and enjoy butter.

BBQ Chicken with Parsley, Lemon Garlic Salsa

BBQ chicken with parsley, lemon, garlic salsa

Parsley, Garlic, lemon sauce over a BBQ chicken prepared to perfection, is just perfect for the 4th and any other weekend.

Green Beans Gremolata

This dish of green beans gremolata is healthy, easy to prepare, and absolutely delicious. A dish that can be enjoyed all year round too. The gremolata gives an updated lift by bringing in new flavors.

Bacon, Onion, Raclette Potato Gratin

bacon, onions, raclette potato gratin

A savory potato dish rich in bacon, onions, and melting cheese. Worth each bite and calories. But then who is counting.

Cauliflower with Olives and Cherry Tomatoes

cauliflower with olives and cherry tomatoes

Roasting the cauliflower, which brings out all the natural juices, combines with the tomatoes and the light lemon vinaigrette, you could live just with that.

Strawberry Apple Pie

Not your typical apple pie, but with the abundance of fresh strawberries, why not add them to our favorite apple pie.

Blackberry Cobbler

blackberry cobbler

Oh boy!!! Cannot make enough of this wonderful and super easy dessert. Top it off with vanilla ice cream…. well we are in heaven.

Enjoy your 4th of July!

xoxo
