Mother’s Day is next Sunday and it is a wonderful day to show your mom, mother-in-law, step mom, grandmothers and all the wonderful women in your life that are a mom to you, how much you appreciate them.
While this can be done any day in the year, this Sunday go all out and show them how much they mean to you.

The wonderful thing about this cocktail is that you can make it with no alcohol or you can replace the vodka with Champagne. Either way a sweet and refreshing way to start the day.

I always enjoy a few nibble to go alongside drinks and those light and fun canapes are perfect. You can either serve them over cucumbers or endives as per the above picture or just slightly toasted baguette.
Halibut in Soy, Honey, Ginger Marinate:
Latest recipe and a must try. Tender halibut marinate in honey, soy fresh ginger. Packed with flavor. You can marinate and part cook the halibut the night before, refrigerate it over night and bake it the day of Mother’s day. Delicious either way

A simple sauce created by blending vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper. Of course you can add to it shallots, fines herbs such as thyme, tarragon, chives or cooked eggs. You can also replace the vinegar with fresh lemon juice. A perfect ending to any meals
This is a very simple and yet full of flavor, favorite French dish. This is how I present it or the vegetables that I prefer. However, you can add thinly sliced potatoes, eggplant as well.
