Ingredients

  • 2 cups water 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp butter 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup rice 1 cup Jasmati or long grain rice
  • 1 tsp lime 1 teaspoon zest of lime
  • 2 tbsps lime 2 tablespoons fresh juice of lime
  • 0.5 cup cilantro 1/2 cup choped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil, stir in the butter and rice into water. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until the rice is tender, about 20 minutes.

  2. Stir the lime zest, lime juice, and cilantro into the cooked rice just before serving.
