Mango martini… so much fun.

I am always asked what is our favorite drink. I guess the answer depends on the occasion. We always try to have some wine with our dinner. I really enjoy red wines, but sometimes however we are in the mood for something different.

Throughout the years I have collected a couple of drinks that we really enjoy. Mango Martini is one of them, as well as Pomegranate Cosmos or Ginger Lemon Tree.

For those of you wanting to try something new and different cocktails and drinks with unusual ingredients, the possibilities are endless.

Gin or Vodka?

I love both with a preference for Vodka. But not any vodka, Grey Goose. Smooth and gently in flavor.

With the gin is the same, my favorite is Bombay Sapphire Gin. Rich in flavor.

Either liquor makes great classic cocktails. Of course, a gin martini shaken or stirred with ice cubes served in a chilled martini glass is the best. Do not forget the lemon twist.

With both, gin and vodka, you can make this wonderful mango martini recipe.

Never leave your martini in the mixing glass too long with the ice. Mine barely sees the ice.

For this mango martini, I selected vodka.

Choose well mature mangoes to make the mango puree in this cocktail recipes creation of mine. And for a person who barely has an alcoholic drink, everyone seems to have enjoyed it.

To add some extra layer of flavor, a dash of lemon juice will add that bit of jazz.

We always enjoy our cocktails with a small tray of cheeses, French brie, and some Spanish Manchego are great to nibble on. Olives, and light water crackers. Or why not some toasted thinly sliced French baguette.

Food and drinks are best when consumed together.

And as will all alcoholics drinks, please consume resonably and never drink and drive.

Enjoy!

Here are is my favorite and own creation.
