During my staying at my dear friend and Chef Eliane at Born to Taste, I have learned how to make Basil Oil. A very easy recipe full of flavor and perfect with fish, chicken and beef.
I made a full cup of it and keep it in the refrigerator to use when the fancy strikes.

- serves 1 cup
Blanch basil for 2 seconds in boiling water. Remove and place in the food processor with the salt, pepper and olive oil
Puree until a smooth.
